The Apostolic Catholic and Spiritual Church is
Acschurch.org is part of the Old Catholic Church which is a community of Christian churches. Many of those Old Catholic Churches were German-speaking churches of laymen and clergymen who split from the Roman Catholic Church in the 1870s because of the promulgation of the dogma of papal Infallibility by the First Vatican Council of 1869–1870. The term "Old Catholic" was first used in 1853 to describe the members of the Utrecht, who were not under Papal authority. The Continental European Old Catholic Churches are usually a part of the Union of Utrecht. There are now English speaking Old Catholic Churches in the United Kingdom and North America not "in-communion" with the Union of Utrecht. The Old Catholic Church of Slovakia is an example of a Continental European Old Catholic Church that removed itself from the Union of Utrecht.
Our Mission in the world is to promote Christian understanding of the Basic Tenants of Faith as taught by Christ the Savior. These empathize Love for each other, Care for others, and Respect for all people, inclusively of all people who Believe in ‘A Divine Present’ in the form of a Supernatural Being which has become known as God. We believe that there is but one God and God provides for all who worship him. We seek to find the same core values in all great religions as opposed to finding finite doctrinal differences. We also seek to encourage dialogue among members of all religions, in finding common ground where each of us may worship in our own way and yet work together to promote a better world for all of mankind. Our mission is also to make sure that everyone in the world is treated justly and that all people are granted human rights, without regards to where they come from or who they are. We seek to make faith transparent and acceptable to anyone who wishes to follow the path to salvation. There may be many paths but one destination for all of us. And it is up to God to judge us, not man. We oppose dogmatism, self-centered, and self-serving aspects of all faiths. We desire to see a world where many faiths can come together and join freely and openly in worshiping and providing aid as well as service to the communities. One of our strongest stands is that of freedom from fear. We desire to work with members of all religions to reduce the tension that now presently exist. We aspire openly to talk to one another as to how to grant through our services, that freedom from fear. Love, Compassion and Care are the basic aspects of all great religions and we must all work together to foster these virtues amongst our congregations. This is our ‘Mission Statement’ to the World. All are welcome here at this site. Christians, Muslims, Jews, Hindus and Buddhists; we make no distinction. Come and worship next to us and we shall worship next to you. May God guide us all to salvation together.
